Privacy
Mailtropolis is part of the 1% of postal service providers (PSPs) that offer the highest level of transactional mail security, privacy, and tracking.
Many PSPs do not ensure the secure transmission of client data because it requires expensive technology and consistent adherence to security protocols. HIPAA/HITECH and HITRUST rules mandate decoupling patient identities from the Private Health Information (PHI) and Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI) before processing. (This capability is out of reach to most PSPs.)
With HIPAA/HITECH document fulfillment, the privacy requirement extends to physical print and mail operations. For many PSPs, their investments in data security are completely nullified when they hit the print button. Any exposure of PHI or NPI is considered a breach and is reportable. The capability to secure and document the entire document fulfillment process is also out of reach to all but the top 1% of all PSPs.
